Are Koontz books ok for an ESL learner?

Life Expectancy is a great book. I read when I was around 15. Honestly, he doesn't use terribly difficult language, but even people who speak English as a first language has to look up a word or two sometimes. It's a great read, and I suggest you continue. Besides, reading books in English is a great practice for someone learning the language!
